Get Juicy

If you follow us on social media you know we've been all about juicing lately. Recently juicing has been gaining a lot of popularity for its many health benefits. For the longest time we would just eat our veggies and fruits (as well as in smoothie form) but recently we've been enjoying daily homemade juices without having to buy an expensive juicer. What's even better is that you can too and probably already have everything you need in order to get juicin' yourself.

 

 

 

 

 

What You'll Need

 

A Bowl

 

A Strainer

A Blender



Process

 

Blend veggies, fruits, and water in high-speed blender until it becomes the consistency of a liquid smoothie. Pour through strainer (you will have to stir it around with a spoon to get all the juice to come out or you could also use a cheesecloth to get out the last drops).


That's it. Pretty simple.

 

 

 

 

 

Our Juicing Experience 

 

We've been drinking about 2 big jars of juice per day for about 2 weeks now. One in the morning with breakfast and another one after the gym to replenish our bodies with the nutrients that get absorbed quickly. 
Juices are a great way to get your veggies and you can combine all your favorite flavors. 

 

 

At the gym we started noticing that our bodies were able to push longer and harder. Our skins got softer and extra clear. And we were less bloated (even after heavy meals).

 

 

In the past two weeks we decided that juicing is definitely going to be an every day ritual in our home. Give it a try, see how you like it, and we'd love to know what your thoughts on juicing are

Pimp Juice

 

Ingredinets

Kale

Spinach

Ginger

Pomegranate

Blueberries

Cherries

Strawberries

Blackberries

Beets

Apple

Acai powder

Filtered water

 

 

 

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a large strainer over a large bowl. Stir with a spoon and press juice through with hands if needed (you can also use a cheese cloth to line the strainer to squeeze juice through easier).

2. Once all juice is collected place bowl in a fridge to cool if needed or serve right away and enjoy.

 

 

 

The Green Hulk Juice

 


Ingredients


Kale
Baby spinach
Curly parsley
Celery
Cucumber
Ginger
Wheatgrass powder (we used @organicburst)
Spirulina powder (we used @organicburst)
Filtered water

 

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a large strainer over a large bowl. Stir with a spoon and press juice through with hands if needed (you can also use a cheese cloth to line the strainer to squeeze juice through easier).

2. Once all juice is collected place bowl in a fridge to cool if needed or serve right away and enjoy.
